Robert Bronstein, President of The Scion Group, will be an All-Star Panelist at the second annual BisNow Chicago Student Housing Summit. Topics for the panel include the best investment opportunities and what’s driving them, sources of funds to finance new investments and developments, capturing rent growth and what new products are being developed in response to demand.
Three Scion team members will participate in panel discussions during the inaugural Interface On-Campus Housing Conference. Jason Taylor, Vice President for Consulting Services, will participate in a panel on managing campus housing operations. Sarah Samuels, Director of Consulting Services, will moderate a panel on the evaluation of public-private partnership proposals. Bill Zeller, Senior Consulting Specialist, will participate in a panel on the trends and forces that will influence student housing in the future. Scion is a sponsor of the conference and a co-sponsor of a tour of student housing, including public-private partnership projects, at the University of Central Florida, to be offered to conference attendees.

Sarah Samuels, Director of Consulting Services for The Scion Group, will participate in the sixth annual RealShare Student Housing Conference on a panel of experts from the student housing sector, discussing the growing international student housing market and the opportunities and challenges of these new markets.
Two executives from The Scion Group—Robert Bronstein, President, and Jason Taylor, Vice President for Consulting Services—have been selected to serve as judges for the third annual Student Housing Business Innovator Awards. Mr. Bronstein was invited to judge two categories, “On-Campus: Best New Development” and “On-Campus: Best Public/Private Partnership.” Mr. Taylor was invited to judge the “Off-Campus: Best Marketing and Lease-up Program” category. The awards will be presented on April 11, 2013 at the Student Housing Business Innovator Awards dinner at the InterFace Student Housing Conference.
