THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO. Following a competitive bid process, Confederation College has announced that it has selected a team, led by FORM Architecture Engineering and including The Scion Group, to plan a new campus student village including a student success centre, fitness facility and student residence. Scion will provide planning services for the residence. This assignment marks the sixth Ontario campus on which Scion has served as advisor.
In completing this engagement, Scion will advise on the program, design and operation of the student residence, as well as the financing of the overall student village project. Along with team members FORM Architecture Engineering and ECS, Scion will participate in “World Café” feedback sessions with students, staff and community members. Scion will also review and make recommendations to conceptual plans, as well as examine available financing options.
