CINCINNATI, OH. The Scion Group has been engaged by Corporex Companies, LLC to examine demand for student housing at Xavier Square, a mixed-use development created by a partnership of Corporex and Xavier University. Xavier Square is planned to include student and affinity housing, a hotel, recreation center, office and retail.
Scion’s work will include a student housing demand analysis, overview of Xavier campus housing, examination of the student rental market, administration of an on-line student survey, student focus group sessions and planning recommendations for the new project. “Xavier Square is a transformational project for Xavier University and the surrounding community,” said Karen Gross Majors, Senior Capital Associate at Corporex Companies. “It was imperative that we hired a consultant with student housing expertise.”
