GEORGETOWN, KY. The Scion Group has been engaged by Georgetown College to analyze the College’s plans to add additional student housing to its current inventory. “Scion’s student housing expertise and successful record motivated us to solicit their opinion before continuing with our plans,” said James Moak, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Scion will study the research, planning and strategy already in place regarding additional student housing and enhancing current facilities. Scion will then offer its opinion regarding current conclusions about the quantity, quality and inventory mix of campus housing.
Georgetown College is a Christian liberal-arts college combining historical Baptist tradition with quality academic programs. Chartered as a college in 1829, Georgetown College traces its origins to the Royal Springs (later Rittenhouse) Academy, founded in 1787 by Baptist minister Elijah Craig.
