SCION ACQUIRES 564-BED PROPERTY AT GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY

STATESBORO, GA. An affiliate of The Scion Group has acquired "Cambridge at Southern," a 228-unit student housing community serving Georgia Southern University.

Located across the street from the University and just a half-mile from the academic heart of campus, the property was built in 2006 and offers a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, plus four-bedroom townhomes. Scion acquired the fully stabilized property from American Campus Communities with assumed debt financing plus private equity from its self-syndicated investors.
