ST.LOUIS, MISSOURI. Sasaki Associates, Inc. has announced its engagement of The Scion Group to collaborate on a campus master plan for Webster University. Scion will be responsible for examining the feasibility of additional student housing as part of the master planning effort. Scion and Sasaki have collaborated previously; in this partnership Scion will analyze the current real estate market, assess current and future demand for student housing at Webster University, and will develop a business plan for potential new or renovated housing. Scion’s work will be integrated with the broader master plan prepared by Sasaki.
Scion’s assessment during the market and demand phase includes the administration of a student survey, facilitating student focus group sessions, reviewing the local rental housing market and interviewing key University stakeholders. Through the business planning phase, Scion will develop financially feasible options for new or renovated housing, if supported by the market and demand analysis.
