SUMTER, SC. The University of South Carolina Sumter has selected Scion for a feasibility study that will assess the sustainability of potential on-campus housing. Scion will conduct a three-phase process, including a market and demand analysis to evaluate the current market and project future demand for campus housing using the data provided by the University, feedback from stakeholder interviews, a survey of students and focus group sessions, combined with Scion’s experience on dozens of similar campuses.
Established in 1966 as a campus of Clemson University and in 1973 as a campus of the University of South Carolina, USC Sumter is one of the four USC System regional campuses making up Palmetto College.
