LAKE WORTH, FL. The Scion Group has been selected by Palm Beach State College to conduct a comprehensive market and demand analysis for potential campus housing. This assignment marks Scion’s tenth advisory engagement in Florida.
Scion’s work will address whether housing may be necessary now or in the foreseeable future based on current demand and enrollment goals, and what specific types of housing should be considered.
Founded in 1933 as Florida’s first public junior college, the now four-campus Palm Beach State College began offering its first bachelor’s degree in 2009 and adopted its current name in 2010. One-third of its over 41,000 students are enrolled full-time.
