SCION TO ADVISE PROPERTY REPOSITIONING AT UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA

ORLANDO, FL. Capfa Capital Corporation 2000f has selected The Scion Group to advise its repositioning of the 2,500-bed Pegasus Landing student housing property, located near the campus of the University of Central Florida. Scion will develop strategies for a self-supported repositioning of the property. This marks Scion’s third engagement on or near the University of Central Florida campus.

Scion will use both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore opportunities to increase occupancy and rental rates, focusing on student preferences, market position, cost sensitivity and projected capture and absorption rates for both the repositioned Pegasus Landing and the overall UCF student housing rental market. Student and parent focus group sessions, a rental market analysis, property tour and stakeholder interviews will inform Scion’s recommendations.
