CHICAGO, IL. Following a competitive bid process, The Scion Group has been selected to conduct a Student Housing Market Demand and Pricing study for the Lake Shore and Water Tower campuses of Loyal University Chicago.
Scion’s work will include engagement with students, staff, faculty and community stakeholders through interviews, student focus groups, whiteboard sessions and visioning sessions to address the specific role of and purpose of student housing as it relates to the University’s mission. Scion will also assess the off-campus rental market, review housing at competing institutions and conduct a student survey. The study will analyze the University’s student housing needs and will include development of specific recommendations based on housing demand, supply, occupancy management strategies and pricing structures.
Loyola University Chicago is a private American Catholic research university founded in 1870 and is one of the largest Catholic universities in the nation. Loyola offers 80 undergraduate and 140 graduate and professional programs for approximately 16,000 students over its eleven colleges and schools.
