ORLANDO, FL. The University of Central Florida Foundation has engaged The Scion Group to prepare a student housing market and demand analysis. After having recently studied the student housing market near UCF for a private client, the Foundation contracted Scion to expand upon its existing research by assessing student demand for both on-campus and University-affiliated housing.
Scion’s work will include the administration of an online student survey, student focus group sessions, interviews with campus administrators and comparison with housing at peer institutions. “We are excited to return to Orlando and to work directly with UCF, particularly given its considerable growth as an institution,” said Jason A. Taylor, Scion’s Managing Director of Consulting Services.
The University of Central Florida Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that enhances the mission and vision of the University of Central Florida through its many fundraising activities. The University of Central Florida, originally named Florida Technological University, was established in 1963 as part of the state university system; today it has an enrollment of over 40,000 students.
