TAHLEQUAH, OK. Northeastern State University has engaged The Scion Group to complete a student housing market and demand analysis for the renewal of its existing campus housing inventory. This study marks 90 campuses on which Scion has been engaged.
Scion will analyze market data, student preferences and University information, and also conduct a walkthrough of existing housing facilities, toward establishing demand for the first phase of renewal contemplated by the University.
Founded in 1846 as the Cherokee National Female Seminary, Northeastern State University is the oldest institution of higher learning in Oklahoma and the state’s fourth-largest public four-year institution. With a main campus in Tahlequah and branch campuses in Muskogee and Broken Arrow, the University serves nearly 9,000 students annually with 56 undergraduate degree programs and majors and 21 graduate programs.
