MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO. Following a competitive bid process, the University of Toronto Mississauga has announced its selection of a team lead by The Scion Group, and including Ernst & Young and Hanscomb, to complete a Student Housing Master Plan. The team will complete three phases of initiation, visioning and planning, including establishing core principles for Student Housing and Residence Life (SHRL), a market and demand analysis, facilities analysis, program planning and a financial analysis.
The team’s work will include significant engagement with student, staff, faculty and community stakeholders, and will consider the University’s existing strategic documents, including the University of Toronto’s Towards 2030, Strategic Management Agreement, Campus Master Plan, and Academic Plan.
Established in 1967, the University of Toronto Mississauga is the second-largest division of U of T, Canada’s largest university. The Mississauga campus offers 15 academic departments, 147 programs and 90 areas of study, with an enrollment of 13,500 undergraduate students and 575 graduate students.
