Scion Commemorates Accomplishments at Annual Leadership Summit

The Scion Group hosted its annual Leadership Summit from Feb. 27 through March 1 at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Hotel. The team celebrated their accomplishments, including leasing the company’s portfolio to 97 percent and the expansion of several key departments in the organization, maintaining Scion’s position as the leading innovator in the off-campus student housing sector.

“Over the past few years, Scion has nearly tripled the size of our corporate platform and added resources to further support the success of our portfolio,” said Robert Bronstein, President and co-founder of The Scion Group.

Participants included community general managers, service partners and industry specialists who gathered to mark the successes of the past year and to look forward to new challenges and strategies for the year ahead. Keynotes featured Ninja Warrior Alex Weber, Olympic gold medalist DeeDee Trotter and Scion’s Senior Vice President of Operations, Kenny Funk.

Under the theme of “Unstoppable,” attendees participated in various workshops that aligned with Scion’s strategic priorities. The executive leadership team conducted a panel style interview covering topics including Scion’s core values, upcoming DEIB initiatives, employee retention and updates regarding the company’s business priorities.

To close out the event, Scion hosted more than 400 attendees at a celebratory dinner, including a presentation of awards to celebrate teams and individuals for their achievements and company tenure.
